Fiano is a grape variety perfectly suited to it's environment. It thrives in hot, dry climates such as the hills around Naples, and always manages to keep good acidity even in drought.
This example from Porconero ("black pig") is textbook stuff. No oak, but still plenty of body, with lovely grapefruit and quince notes.
