This early Tasmanian winery - it was first planted in 1958 - really got going when Tasmanian gambler David Walsh bought it in 1995. Recognising the buildings and terroir for their heritage and potential, he developed them into the estate we know today, and also established MONA along the way.
This light and fresh style of Pinot Noir has "sour cherry, ripe strawberry, dried florals, vanilla and spice on the nose". It's very freindly, and can handle a spell in an ice bucket in warmer weather.
