The incredibly talented Farr family must have a Pinot Noir gene. Father, son and daughter all make fabulous wine from this most challenging ov grape varieties. Geelong is the base, but they have other projects in Gippsland and Henty (in Western Victoria).
Farrside is one of three single vineyard Pinots from Geelong. It's usually the last to be harvested, becasue of the darker volcanic and limestones soils, and cooler conditions. Considered the most masculine of the three.
"A balanced array of red and black fruits, Farrside pinot noir is fresh and edgy with bucketloads of character. This is a firm yet delicate wine with a long-textured finish."
